Aigle Laforse 2 MTD Brown Leather Boot

This is the second pair of AIGLE LaForse boots they are soooooo comfortable and extremely hard wearing.

I bought a pair of Aigle Laforse 2 MTD Brown Leather Boots on 28th October. Shortly after I started wearing them about the farm, the heel of the left boot started squeaking and seemed to feel softer than the right heel, apparently indicating some kind of internal structural failure. I complained to Tweed Outdoor and they were kind enough to send me a replacement pair. I received the replacements on 26th November. I week later, by 3rd December, these had started showing the same fault. The right heel seems to be suffering the same structural failure as that of the first pair.
I bought the boots because I had previously owned a pair of boots called Aigle Laforse 2 Mtd, since January 2021, and they seemed to be a very serviceable, robust pair of boots. After about five years hard wear, the uppers were failing, but the soles and heels were as firm as the day they were purchased. No squeaks!
The construction of the soles and heels seem to have been changed in the current form of the Aigle Laforse 2 Mtd boot; and I suggest that they are no longer fit for purpose.
I am full of gratitude to Tweed Outdoor for the way they responded to my complaint when the first boots failed, and cannot recommend Tweed Outdoor highly enough for their service; but I suggest that they should take these unsuitable boots off their catalogue.
